Research Scientist/Engineer 1

Responsible for performing standard activities in a laboratory studying the genetics, physiology and ecology of environmental microbial populations. Will assist with laboratory organization, experimental design and implementation, design and construction of bioreactor systems and instrumentation, and coordinating the activities of other laboratory personnel and visitors. The individual will be responsible for report writing.

Research Technologist 2

The research scientist in this position would perform molecular based analyses on GI tract microbial communities. This individual would work with the supervisor to optimize techniques and analysis as needed.

Research Technologist 2

Requisition #: 16883. This individual will conduct research exploring the integration of microfluidics and DNA microarrays in the laboratory of Dr. David Stahl. The research technician will be responsible for executing laboratory experiments focused on integrating and optimizing microfluidics with DNA microarray technology.
